  1. Culture supernatants (1 ml/5 × 105 TEC) were collected 1 month after retroviral infection. CSF-1 and GM-CSF were measured by colony stimulating assay as CFU per 105 bone marrow cells. Positive standard for the assay is MRL-lpr sera at 6 months of age, 53 ° 4 CFU. All values are means of duplicate samples. Uninf., retroviral uninfected TEC.
