Kinetics of induction of PAI-1 mRNA by insulin
Six- to 8-week-old lean mice were injected intraperitoneally with 10 units of insulin and the indicated tissues were removed 3, 6, and 24 hr later. Total RNA was prepared and analyzed for PAI-1 gene expression by quantitative RT-PCR as described in Materials and Methods. Each time point on the graph represents the mean ± SD of four animals.
