HSV-1 amplicon vector-mediated expression of glucose-6-phosphatase in cultured hepatocytes from G6Pase deficient mice
pHSVmG6Pase and pHSVlac were packaged into HSV-1 virions by using the helper virus-free system. Glucose-6-phosphatase-deficient mouse hepatocytes (G6Pase−/−) in culture were infected with either (A) 10 µl or (B) 50 µl of pHSVmG6Pase or (C) 10 µl of pHSVlac stocks, and 24 hr later, stained for G6Pase enzyme activity.
