Effect of Aβ 1–42 on monocyte migration across the blood-brain barrier model. The BBB models were prepared for migration by placing control medium, a dot of Aβ (160 µg), monocytes (2 × 104), or both Aβ and monocytes in the lower chamber, and incubated overnight.
