Tags below mRNAs were generated by RT/PCR using primers designed to hybridized to published sequences (α3-C, α3-D, γ2-A) or cloned from an expression library (α3-cDNA) (42,43,57). The total lengths of 5532 for the ln α3 and 5200 for the ln γ2 transcript account for all sequences reported (7,42,43,57). The 3930 bp of ln β3 is as reported (58).
