TNFbp treatment reduces serum MIF levels during the anti-GBM glomerulonephritis
Through Western blot analysis, the presence of serum MIF protein was detected in normal rats, which is the same size as the recombinant protein. TNFbp treatment caused a marked reduction in the level of serum MIF protein over the entire disease time course, compared with that in saline-treated animals.
