AGE-BSA induces activation of NF-κB in cardiac fibroblasts. Quiescent confluent cardiac primary fibroblasts from the adult rat were incubated with 25 µM AGE-BSA or BSA for 24 hr. ranslocation of NF-κB was measured by EMSA of nuclear extracts as described in the Methods section.
