Contents of hsp70 in rat and mouse islets following collagenase isolation

Rat and mouse islets were taken for immunoblot experiments either directly after collagenase isolation or after 1, 3, and 7 days of in vitro culture. hsp70 contents were determined as given in Materials and Methods. Values are means ± SEM for four observations. *p < 0.05 versus corresponding control islets on Day 0 for a chance difference using Students t test.
