Microscopic analysis of mitochondrial membrane potential in MMAN cells. Cells were loaded with the mitochondrial potential-sensitive dye MitoTracker Red CMXRos and incubated with vehicle alone (DMSO) (A), 50 µM ZnCl2 (B), clioquinol (7 µg/ml) (C), or clioquinol/ZnCl2 (7 µg/ml clioquinol/50 µM ZnCl2) (D) for 90 min.
