In the figure are indicated: The phenotype, defined as growth (+) or no growth (−), in MT-2 cells of the viral isolate obtained at the last time-point during follow-up of the children and the CDC stage, as immunological classification according to the 1994 Revised Classification of the Centers of Disease Control, are shown for patients with the presence (Δ32) or absence (WT) of the Δ32 deletion of the CCR5 gene.
