Cells were plated, infected and treated as described in Materials and Methods. After treatment for 6 days with various doses of E2 (A, B), or at intervals over an 8-day treatment with 1 nM E2 (C, D), cell growth was determined by a colorimetric assay. For panels A and B, cell density is expressed as a percentage, normalized to E2 treated (1 nM) uninfected cells. All results are plotted as means ± standard deviations for quadruplicate wells.
