Immunolabeling of human PS1 in transgenic neuronal cultures. The expression and subcellular distribution of the transgenic PS1 were examined independently of the patterns of endogenous murine protein in cells expressing the wtPS1 (A) and M146L (B) mutant proteins using the human-specific antibody NT1. Labeling comparable to that of the endogenous mouse PS1 was observed, although with a more punctate distribution.
