Expression of the cell-cell adhesion molecule N-cadherin in the melanoma in situ, in the adjacent VGP melanoma, and in a MGP melanoma. A tissue section containing the melanoma in situ (a) and the adjacent VGP melanoma (b), and a tissue section prepared from a snap-frozen MGP melanoma (c) were probed with an antibody to N-cadherin. The yellow-colored arrows in the RGB images of the tissue sections point to some of the N-cadherin-specific signals.
