  2. Statistical values presented are derived from regression analysis based on an additive model of inheritance using the MapManager QTXb08 program. The additive model fitted best, thus defining the dominance properties of the QTL. Genetic distances are presented in parenthesis in cM. The localization of the AngII/AVP receptor gene. (1.7 cM from D1Rat188, as determined by radiation hybrid mapping) is highlighted.
