Subcellular localization of PTEN in melanoma cells. A375-S2 or MeWo cells were transduced with Ad-Luc or Ad-PTEN for 24 hr and monitored by confocal microscopy. Ad-PTEN treated cells exhibited high levels of PTEN expression in cytoplasm and cell periphery. Note concentration of PTEN in specific regions of membrane consistent with adhesion plaques and intercellular structures.
