Cell-cycle analysis of SW480 cells by flow cytometry. Cells were plated at a density of 1 × 105/10-cm dish. Treatment with 100 μM of FTS (A) or control solvent (B) was carried out for 4 days with new media plus drug changed every 24 hr. Nuclei were stained with propidium iodide and the analysis was performed on a FacsCalibur (Becton Dickinson). Data were processed using ModFit software. The percentage of cells in each phase of the cell cycle is shown in the histograms (C).
