Gene expression levels plotted as a function of the expression levels of the respective genes in the fed and fasted state are compared between Anx7(+/−) (red) and Anx7(+/+) (blue) mice. The dashed black diagonal line indicates the location of genes whose expression is identical in the fed or fasted states. This graph is an average of duplicate assays of individual islet preparations from male Anx(+/−) mice and their cognate Anx7(+/+) normal littermate controls. Four mice of each genotype were used for the experiment.
