Nuclear extracts were prepared 45 min after LPS (10 µg/ml) challenge and NF-κB DNA binding was assessed using the gel mobility shift assay. (B) Luciferase activity in RAW macrophages transiently transfected with an NF-κB promoter construct. PJ-34 pretreatment (30 µM) inhibited LPS-induced increases in luciferase activity.
