  1. aCells (2 × 105/ml) treated with IgE (10 µg) for 1 hr then 48 hr with anti-IgE (10 µg). Cells were then collected, viable cells counted, and their surface CD23, CD 14, and CD71 expression levels quantified by direct immunofluorescence. Cell supernatants were collected and assayed for their p24, TFNα, and nitrite content. Values are mean or mean ± SD from two different U1high cell preparations.
