Renal angiomyolipomas, but not renal cell carcinomas, express NG2 in vivo. Renal AML with thick walled blood vessel associated with typical component of smooth muscle cells and normal appearing fat cell was positive for B5 (Figure 2A), 9.2.27 (Figure 2C), and N143.8 (Figure 2E), but RCC tumor cells were negative for those antibodies (Figure 2B, 2D, and 2F). Blood vessels were positive for these antibodies.
