IL-1 receptor antagonist protein expression. Frozen tissue of independent samples was homogenized in a homogenization buffer, centrifuged, and 100 µg protein was analyzed in IL-1ra ELISA. Data of 6 control tissues, 8 ICM tissues, and 10 DCM tissues were analyzed by 1-way ANOVA and presented as box blot (A) and bar chart representing the mean ± SEM (B).
