Effect of repeated exposures of P4 on the viability of SK-N-AS (A), primary cortical neuron (B), and HFF-1 cells (C). Cells were exposed to different concentrations of P4 daily for 3 and 6 d by replacing the culture medium containing P4. The stock solution of P4 was prepared in DMSO (final concentration <5 µL/mL medium). Cell death was measured by MTT assay. Data are expressed as means ± SD of three independent experiments. Significant difference: *P< 0.05 compared with vehicle group.
