Clinical outcome of NSCLC patients with differential levels of AGE-related plasma fluorescence (FL). (A) Kaplan-Meier plot of the 4-year tumor-free interval and the 5-year postoperative survival of NSCLC patients with either low or high plasma fluorescence. (B) NSCLC patients had been further subdivided into quartiles (QI to QIV) according to the level of their plasma fluorescence and the survival curves were calculated for each subgroup. The median plasma FL (μg/mL AGE-BSA) is in QI: 0.73, QII: 0.94, QIII: 1.21 and QIV: 1.61. Significance between the Kaplan-Meier curves was tested by log-rank statistic. All pair-wise multiple comparison procedures calculated a critical P value with <0.008 (Bonferroni method).
