Effect of RSVA314 and RSVA405 treatment on AMPK activation at the different phases of adipocyte differentiation. (A-C) Differentiating 3T3-L1 cells were treated with the indicated concentrations of RSVA314 and RSVA405 or vehicle (DMSO; CTRL). Phospho-AMPK, total AMPK, phospho-ACC, total ACC and actin protein levels were examined on day 0, 2, 4 and 8 of adipocyte differentiation (Diff. days; A). Densitometric analyses and quantification of the levels of phospho-AMPK and phospho-ACC at the different phases of adipocyte differentiation in control cells (B) and on day 2 of differentiation in cells treated as in (A) were performed (C). a.u., arbitrary units.
