The skin tissues collected from sham and burn-injured mice (3/group) at 0.5 h post burn injury were detected for (A) mRNA and (B) protein levels of TLR9, MyD88, NF-κB and IRF5 by qPCR and Western blot, and for (C) IRF5 expression by immunohistochemistry (IHC). Arrows, black arrowheads and blue arrowheads denote keratinocytes in the epidermis, keratinocytes in hair follicles and fibroblasts in dermis, respectively.
