  1. 2.5 × 106 PBMCs from each donor were cultured in the presence of the indicated stimuli for 10 days and assayed for their ability to lyse the indicated target cells. Percentage of γδ+ T cells was determined by reactivity with TCRδl mAb as described in Materials and Methods, nt = not tested.
  2. aREI (relative expansion index) was calculated as the γδ T cell percentage resulting after culture with a stimulus divided by the γδ T cell percentage after culture in medium alone.
