  1. For ENV15 and CHO cell lines, cytotoxicity assays were performed by measuring incorporation of 3H-Leu into cellular proteins as described in Materials and Methods. IC50 is the concentration that causes 50% inhibition of protein synthesis after 20 hr incubation with immunotoxin. For 8E5 and A3.01 cells, WST-1 cell viability assays were performed as described in Materials and Methods. IC50 is deduced from the concentration that causes 50% reduction of OD (A450 nm) value after 5 days incubation with immunotoxin.
