Anti-MIF Ab treatment halts renal leukocyte infiltration in rat anti-GBM disease. The number of leukocytes per glomerular cross section (gcs) (a) or per mm2 of the cortical interstitium (b) was scored in animals killed on day 7 of disease without treatment (open bars) and after treatment with an irrelevant control Ab (closed bars) or an anti-MIF Ab (hatched bars) over days 7 to 21.
