Ficoll density gradient ultracentrifugation of whole human serum containing added CRP on gradients formed in human serum albumin solution at 40 g/l. After centrifugation, the gradient was fractionated from the top, lowest density, fraction 1, to the bottom, highest density, fraction 25. The sedimentation profiles of SAP (□) and CRP (●) are shown.
