Expression of Bax and Bcl-2, and activation of caspase-3 and p38 MAPK in T47D cells. Cells were infected with 5 PFU/cell of adenoviral vectors and treated with E2 over a range of times. Equal amounts of whole cell extracts (Bax, and Bcl-2) or nuclear extract (phospho-p38 MAPK) were resolved by SDS/PAGE and immunoblotted with mouse monoclonal antibodies against Bax (A), Bcl-2 (B), or phospho-p38MAPK (C). Similar results were obtained in two additional experiments.
