Expression of STM sialyltransferase in normal human tissues. The Northern blot was probed with the 0.7-kb EcoRI + XhoI restriction fragment that corresponds to the 3′-untranslated end of the stm cDNA (upper) and 36B4 as an internal standard (lower). Each lane contained approximately 2 µg of pure polyA+ RNA. The RNAs were run on a denaturing formaldehyde/1.2% agarose gel and blotted onto a nylon membrane (Human MTN Blot, Clontech, #7760-1).
