Induction of Hsp expression. HUVECs were treated with the immunosuppressive/antiinflammatory agents aspirin (A), CyA (B), and indomethacin (C) at the indicated concentrations for 6 hr and total RNA was isolated according to standard protocol. Northern blots were performed to detect the effect of the various agents on Hsp expression, β-actin was used to standardize the RNA amount. The autoradiograph shows a representative example of three experiments.
