Cell cycle profiles in the presence or absence of p21WAF1 and/or etoposide. Vector control (Neo) or inducible p21WAF1-vector (IWAF) cells were preincubated in the presence or absence of p21WAF1 inducer (IPTG) for 6 hr, after which etoposide was added as indicated. Cells were harvested 24 or 48 hr later and DNA content determined by propidium iodide staining and flow cytometry.
