  1. Profiles were determined by propidium iodide staining 24 (day one) or 48 (day two) hr after etoposide addition. DNA contents in G1, S, G2/M, or subdiploid (Frag.) compartments were calculated using the ModFit program (Coulter, Inc, Miami, FL). The decrease in G1-phase of IWAF cells exposed to etoposide is most evident at day two (bolded). Neo or IWAF cells were exposed to IPTG(I) to etoposide (E) or to both (IE) as indicated.
