(A) Measurements obtained on AMMAIN4 (ovarian carcinoma) and AMMAIN5 (placenta), transformed to logarithmic scale, show a tendency of higher values for the placental probe, represented above the line of equality. (B) Differences in gene transcript signal intensities between the two probes against their respective means. The difference in means is represented by a dotted line at −0.81. Dotted lines at −2.00 and 0.39 indicate the limits of agreement with signal intensities between the two probes; whereas, dashed lines at ± 0.98 indicate the limits beyond which significant difference in transcript abundance are defined (see text).
