Plasma/lumen ratio of FD4, an indicator of intestinal epithelial permeability, in the intestine of zymosan-treated mice. Epithelial permeability significantly increased in zymosan-treated iNOS WT mice. Zymosan-treated iNOS KO mice and iNOS WT mice treated with NAC or 3-AB showed a significant reduction in the increase in permeability.
