From: The Small GTPase Rac Suppresses Apoptosis Caused by Serum Deprivation in Fibroblasts
Proliferation of cell lines expressing different Rac mutants in the absence of serum. Cells were induced for the expression of the Rac mutants, deprived of serum for 4 days and then assayed for SRB staining. The values of two independent clones for each cell line are shown. V-5-5 and V-5-8 are clones expressing the vector plasmid control. Each sample value represents the mean derived from 14 independent wells and normalized for the value at time 0. Standard deviations (SD) are indicated by the vertical bars; for the RacN17-12 line the SD value is very small and is contained within the data bar. Data are representative of three independent experiments.
