YAP can directly regulate the transcription of IL-6, while not IL-11, in EC cells. Ishikawa cells were treated with 5 μM of VP for the indicated times, the expression of IL-6 (a) and IL-11 (b) was measured by use of qRT-PCR; Ishikawa cells were treated with or without VP for 1 h, the binding between YAP and promoter of IL-6 (c) or IL-11 (d) was measured by ChIP assay; (e) Ishikawa or AN3CA cells were treated with or without VP for 1 h, the luciferase activities of IL-6 promoter were measured by use of the dual-luciferase assay.
