From: Fn14 exacerbates acute lung injury by activating the NLRP3 inflammasome in mice
Fn14 expression is increased in the lungs of ALI mice. C57BL/6J mice were intratracheally injected with LPS (5 mg/kg, i.t.). Twelve hours later, the expression of Fn14 mRNA in the lungs was determined by real-time PCR (A, n = 7). The protein expression of Fn14 in the lungs was determined by Western blot (B, C, n = 4). Data are expressed as the mean ± SD. Differences between the two groups were determined by an unpaired t-test. **P < 0.01 and ***P < 0.001
