From: Quercetin inhibits the metabolism of arachidonic acid by inhibiting the activity of CYP3A4, thereby inhibiting the progression of breast cancer

Fig. 6

Quercetin affects tumor growth in breast cancer-bearing nude mice. A, B Tumor size (A) and volume (B) in each group of tumor-bearing mice; (C) the weight of each group of tumor-bearing mice; (D) H&E staining detects the pathological conditions of major organs in each group of tumor-bearing mice; (E) LC–MS/MS measures the content of EETs in the blood and tumor tissue of each group of tumor-bearing mice; F Western blot detects the protein expression levels of CYP3A4, Stat3, and p-Stat3 in tumor tissue of each group of tumor-bearing mice. The data results are metric data represented using mean ± standard deviation. The independent sample t-test was used to compare two groups, and one-way ANOVA was used to analyze the comparison among multiple groups with Tukey’s post-hoc test. Each group had 8 experimental animals, and **** indicates a P value < 0.0001 when compared with the Quercetin 0mg/kg group or 0.5% CMC-Na group
