From: Exosomal circCOL1A1 promotes angiogenesis via recruiting EIF4A3 protein and activating Smad2/3 pathway in colorectal cancer

Fig. 8

EIF4A3 promotes angiogenesis of HUVECs through binding to Smad2/3 mRNA. HUVECs were transfected with sh-NC, sh-EIF4A3, sh-EIF4A3 + pcDNA3.1-NC, sh- EIF4A3 + pcDNA3.1-Smad2 and sh-EIF4A3 + pcDNA3.1-Smad3. (A) The mRNA level of EIF4A3 in HUVECs was detected by qRT-PCR. The mRNA levels of Smad2 (B) and Smad3 (C) were detected by qRT-PCR. (D) The protein levels of EIF4A3, p-Smad2, Smad2, p-Smad3, Smad3, and VEGFR were detected by western blot. (E) Cell proliferation was monitored by CCK-8 assay. (F) Cell migration was assessed by wound healing assay. (G) The in vitro angiogenesis was detected by tube formation assay. *, P < 0.05, **, P < 0.01, ***, P < 0.001
