From: TIM-3 regulates the proliferation by BDNF-mediated PI3K/AKT axis in the process of endometriosis

Fig. 1

TM-3 expression is upregulated in the eutopic and ectopic endometrium of endometriosis patients compared with the control endometrium. (A) T-cell immunoglobulin and mucin domain-containing molecule-3 (TIM-3) mRNA levels in the eutopic and ectopic endometrium of endometriosis patients were upper than those in the control endometrium, as detected by quantitative RT-PCR (qRT-PCR) (* P < 0.05). Data were normalized to β-actin. Results are mean ± SD of three independent experiments. Data were analyzed by Student’s t-test. (B) TIM-3 protein levels in the eutopic and ectopic endometrium of endometriosis were upper than those in the control endometrium, detected by western blot. β-tubulin was an internal control. (C)TIM-3 protein was ubiquitously expressed on the plasma membrane and in the cytoplasm of Eu and Ec. (*p < 0.05, **p < 0.01, ***p < 0.001, ****p < 0.0001)
