Western blot analysis of PBGD found in spleen and blood cells. The samples (19.5 µg) and standards (1.3 µg) were run on a Bis/Tris acrylamide gel, transferred to a polyvinylidine fluoride membrane, and immunostained using polyclonal rabbit PBGD antiserum. Mouse housekeeping PBGD manufactured as in Johansson and others (17) (mPBGDhou, 44 kDa) and recombinant human erythroid PBGD (rhPBGD, 42 kDa) were used as standards.
