Validation of microarray data by quantitative real time PCR with the corresponding correlation coefficients. The figure is comprised of two sets of data, up-regulated genes, indicated by the heading showing seven genes with increased fold changes for cells treated with E2 + DIM, and down-regulated genes heading three genes whose expression is decreased with treatment of E2 + DIM. The vertical bars indicate relative mRNA expression in E2, DIM, and E2 + DIM. The expression levels were normalized against DMSO treated MCF-7 cells. Microarray fold change is shown as a line along the bars. The one-step QRT-PCR was performed by TaqMan chemistry. B-actin was used as endogenous control.
