Immunocytochemical staining of HepG2 and control cells with phage S1 (by ABC means, ×400). Cell-bound phages were detected using anti-M13 phage monoclonal antibody, secondary antibody, and ABC complex. Then the cells were stained with diaminobenzidine (DAB) followed by hematine crystal. Panel (A) shows immunocytochemical staining with phage S1 on HepG2 cells; (B) shows immunocytochemical staining with phage S1 on BEL-7402 cells; (C) shows immunocytochemical staining with phage S1 on L-02; (D) shows immunocytochemical staining with phage S1 on Hela. L-02 (c) and Hela (d) were treated as negative controls.
