Genes associated with immune response. Immune response genes identified in Table 2 show a bias of chemokine and interleukin gene expression in all samples (n = 10). The expression of 9 genes (top), were increased in papillomas, and 8 genes (bottom) were decreased in papillomas relative to the corresponding autologous adjacent tissue. Highly expressed genes are shown as red boxes, low expressed genes are shown as blue boxes, and intermediately expressed genes are shown as yellow boxes.
