From: Interleukin-18 Delays Neutrophil Apoptosis following Alcohol Intoxication and Burn Injury
The effect of anti-IL-18 antibody (Ab) on neutrophil expression of Mcl-1 (A) and Bcl-xl (B) on d 1 following EtOH intoxication and burn injury. The amount of Mcl-1 and Bcl-xl was quantitated by use of densitometry. The densitometric values were normalized to the β-actin and are shown as mean ± SEM from 3 to 6 animals in each group. *P < 0.05 versus vehicle treated saline plus sham and anti-IL-18 Ab-treated EtOH and burn groups.
