Galantamine lowers circulatory glucose, insulin and cholesterol in high-fat diet-fed mice. Blood glucose and plasma insulin and cholesterol levels were determined in mice fed a low-fat diet and treated with saline (LFD-S), high-fat diet and treated with saline (HFD-S) or high-fat diet and treated with galantamine (HFD-G).
