IRAK-M^−/− mice demonstrate reduced bacterial growth and dissemination during Klebsiella pneumonia. WT (closed symbols) and IRAK-M-deficient (IRAK-M^−/−) (open symbols) mice were infected intranasally with 1 × 10⁴ CFU K. pneumoniae and euthanized at 3, 6, 24 and 48 h after induction of pneumonia.
