Figure 3

CNDP2 knockdown promotes tumor growth in vitro and in vivo. (A) CNDP2 protein levels were analyzed in SGC-7901 cells. A significant reduction of CNDP2 level was observed in Lesh-CNDP2 transfectants compared with the Lesh-NC transfectants and untreated control. (B) The cell proliferation levels were measured by the CCK-8 assay. Lesh-CNDP2 transfectants had significantly increased growth rates in SGC-7901 cells. (C) Lesh-CNDP2 transfected cells possessed significantly higher colony-forming efficiency. (D) CNDP2 silencing facilitated tumor growth in nude mice subcutaneously inoculated with SGC-7901/Lesh-CNDP2 compared with SGC-7901/Lesh-NC in vivo. (E) The tumor masses and tumor volume for the two groups are compared, and the bar graph shows the mean tumor masses or volume for Lesh-CNDP2 (n = 6) and Lesh-NC (n = 6) transfectants. *p < 0.05, **p < 0.01, from the Lesh-NC group.
